Featuring 3-Way independent damping adjustment and ride height adjustment, by incorporating our class leading large diameter 46mm piston and ultra-strong piston rod at the front of the car, the R3 system demonstrates outstanding levels of performance, damping control and adjustment. Piggyback or remotely mounted reservoir allows quick and simple independent adjustment of rebound and fast and slow compression damping. The large range of adjustment and quality of feedback allows the experienced driver to fully exploit the full potential of their car. The R3 is a proven race winner and lap record holder across a wide spectrum of international motorsport formulas.
On a standard factory car it will lower the car between 20mm and 50mm depending on the settings used. Because the dampers have a wide range of rate adjustment you should be able to achieve setting ranging from fast road to full track settings and this will certainly help control the way the car behaves under extreme conditions. If your car is otherwise modified it hard to be precise with regards to exactly what ride height settings can be achieved, so please bear in mind that once the kit is fitted there may have to some experimentation with ride height and possibly spring rates on your part. If additional springs are required to achieve the ultimate desired settings, these will be chargeable as an extra.
Our kits are supplied complete with high precision fully CNC machined, independent caster and camber adjustable front top mounting plates for the dampers which include spherical bearings in place of the original rubber mounts and therefore allow the suspension geometry to be adjusted and set very accurately. The lack of unwanted movement within the mounts under extreme driving and track conditions mean that the geometry of the car will remain constant under all conditions and this will ensure that the car will handle and perform in a far more constant and predictable manner. Please bear in mind that the use of spherical bearings and the lack of rubber will result in a higher level of suspension noise being transmitted into the car which can in turn reduce the level of overall refinement of the car.
